What is an optimal blood sugar range?

Answer

Everyone has a different blood sugar goal or expected range, so it is advised to check with your doctor or health care professional for expectation with your unique condition and chemistry in mind.

Generally the standard blood sugar goals are:

  • 70-110 mg/dL before meals
  • 100-140 mg/dL before bedtime
