The BD Logic Glucose Meters by Becton Dickinson is a top meter when it comes to speed and blood sample size. Because of it's minimal sample size requirements you can use the BD Ultra-Fine 33 Lancets, the thinnest available for the least amount of pain every test.


The BD Logic was tested along side 13 other blood glucose meters in Consumer Reports August 2005 issue. The magazine rated these meters in terms of consistency, accuracy, and ease of use. The BD Logic was given a rank of (very good).


The BD Logic Glucose Meter was given alternate site testing (AST) clearance by the FDA back in 2004. This meter has been a top meter for many years and still is one of the best blood glucose testing meters on the market. With AST testing of the palm and forearm, testing can be done less painfully. Also, with thin lancets and one of the smallest blood sample needed at .3muL, the BD Logic was designed for comfort.
