The FreeStyle Freedom Lite Glucose Meter is easy to hold, easy to read and along with the comfortable ergonomic shape has easy to push buttons. This meter does require coding and holds a test memory up to 400 tests. With a minimal sample size of 0.3µL you can have results in 5 seconds.

With alternate site testing (AST) you can test on your calf, upper arm, hand, thigh, forearm and finger with the FreeStyle Freedom Lite glucose meter. This is also considered less painful as your fingertips have more nerve endings, triggering pain more intensely while lancing. Seven out of 10 patients believe AST is less painful in a recent study. We do recommend finger testing only for those with hypoglycemia or related conditions.

This glucose meter uses the New FreeStyle Lite Test Strips and is very similar to the FreeStyle Lite Meter except that it does not have the lite button and secondary lite.
